Leandro and the remake of Coffe with Scent of a Woman are the two titles that Canal RCN bets on in the international market. The first one is based on the life of Leandro Diaz, a national symbol in Colombian music.
The series is inspired by the novel “Leandro” written by Alonso Sánchez Baute and follows the life of the late Vallenato music singer, Leandro Díaz. It’s starring by Silvestre Dangon, along with Laura de León. It premiered on September 19, 2022 on Canal RCN and later it is available on video on demand under the day and date modality on Prime Video.
Othe of the highlights is Coffe with Scent of a Woman, produced by Yalile Giordanelli for RCN Televisión in 2021, a new version of the 1994 telenovela of the same name created by Fernando Gaitán, which already had two popular adaptations made in Mexico. It first premiered in Colombia on May 10, 2021 through Canal RCN, while in the United States it premiered on Telemundo on May 25, 2021.
Also Until Money Drive’s Us Apart a telenovela produced and broadcasted by Canal RCN in Colombia, and Telemundo in the United States. It stars Laura Londoño and William Levy, along with Carmen Villalobos, Diego Cadavid and Mabel Moreno in the antagonistic roles.
In addition, the suspense telenovela The chosen granddaughter, written by Julio Jiménez and Iván Martínez. The production has an ensemble cast headed by Francisca Estévez, Carlos Torres, Juliette Pardau, and Consuelo Luzardo. It premiered on Canal RCN on 2021.
