BBC Studios has announced a deal with Amazon Freevee for the exclusive premiere of five new, editorially-curated FAST channels in the U.S. They deliver 1,000 hours of content and include BBC Comedy, BBC Gameshows and BBC Sci-Fi.
Silent Witness/New Tricks and BBC Travel are also in the Freevee lineup. BBC Studios will have a total of 17 editorially-curated FAST channels available in the U.S. when the new channels go live on October 17. The creator, producer and distributor first entered the American FAST market in 2019.
Hit shows appearing on the channels include The Catherine Tate Show, Misfits, and Without Limits.
