With success on platforms, as well as in its linear channels, RCN Estudios is having a great moment, that’s why it’s attending ATF this year, to highlight its catalog for this market.
With one of the largest catalogs in Latin America, the company heads its slate with Ana de Nadie, a story that vindicates the role of women and their empowerment. The story has a cast starring Paola Turbay, Sebastián Carvajal and Jorge Enrique Abello.
They also present the biographical series Rigo, about one of the most beloved characters in Colombia and in the world of cycling. Inspired by the life of cyclist Rigoberto Urán, an international-class runner, this production recreates his life, which is a story of resilience and improvement because the athlete did not escape the rigors of the conflict in Colombia or poverty.
Also Tía Alison, another of the productions with which the company is betting on the international market. Starring Juliette Paradau, it is the drama of a young, beautiful woman, full of dreams, who has nothing. When she is about to achieve the dream project that will take her out of poverty, she is forced to abandon it because a tragedy occurs in her life. She has to become a mother by force, and face raising three nephews who are orphaned.
On the commercial side, the company has signed several recent agreements, one of them is the one made with Prime Video, where the bioseries Rigo quickly ranked first in Colombia a week after its premiere on the platform.
They also highlight the agreement with ViX, which includes several productions with excellent performance, such as Ana de Nadie.
