
The distribution arm of ATV, one of the most watched channels in Turkey, comes from success to success. The company recently renewed the strips For My Family and The Ottoman for new seasons, which are part of its international line up at ATF 2023.
In an interview with Prensario, Emre Görentaş, head of international sales at the company, said: ‘With these last markets, we hope to meet with numerous buyers from new countries. It’s the last biggest market of the year, so we’re ready to go all out to tell more about our robust series and answer all the questions our buyers may have in mind’.
Among the genres that are driven in the market are: Street Birds, ATV’s newest drama, which debuted most strongly in Turkey, which portrays the survival story of five street children whose lives change when they find a baby in a garbage dump.

Also, the historical epics Destan and The Ottoman, which have started to receive more attention after several purchases. ‘We believe they will increase the popularity of historical series in the Hispanic market’, Görentaş added.
Last but not least, ATV added children’s content to its extensive catalog that already aired on one of its children’s channels. With this variety, ATV will keep its position in the market safe and secure.
Among the recent sales, A Little Sunshine and Street Birds stand out, and at the same time the executive announced that announcements of new sales will come once they are completely signed. ‘Apart from these, our proven title, For May Family, is currently airing on Telefe, Argentina. Additionally, Latina, Perú is broadcasting season 3 very soon’.
