The Chinese delegation has on Tuesday 25th February, a very busy day at MIPLondon: on the morning organized with RX France two co-pro labs at the Mountbatten Room of the IET building, one focused on docs & kids programming and the other focused on unscripted formats and dramas. During the afternoon, a cocktail was offered at the China Pavilion, a big space with 12 companies at the Lancaster Room, Savoy Hotel.

The China Pavilionisheaded by the international team of JSBC, Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation, the big Chinese broadcaster. Its president, Ms. Qiu Yuanyuan, explained to Prensario: ‘We are here to promote content business in all directions, from China to the world and from the international players to China. Our country provides high – quality content, very good diversity of genres for all kind of audiences, unique natural and social environments, plus support and production advantages from the Government’.
‘To develop co-productions is a good way to generate business with China, but we are open to all business formulas. There are already many successful projects between Chinese companies and strong international players. It is perfect for us to work with UK broadcasters as BBC and ITV, for example. Frommy company JSBCin particular, we love to develop international relationships and experiences here at MIPLondon’.
