At MIPCOM 2025, OneTwoThree Media presents a key strategic move: the launch of its first line of limited series, a step that extends its renowned track record in film to television.

The proposal includes 8 Billion, a pandemic thriller directed by Harald Franklin and filmed in Germany, Switzerland, and Ukraine. Starring Alan Burgon, Davina Reeves, and Sergey Denga, the story exposes the dangers of scientific and corporate manipulation when a virologist discovers that his research on a universal vaccine conceals a plan to unleash a super virus on a global scale.
The second title is Land of Smiles, a psychological crime drama inspired by real events and filmed entirely in Thailand. Starring Jean-Marc Birkholz, Sasi Pee Somboon, and Anthony Straeger, the series portrays a charismatic sociopath and his lover, who lure foreign men to rob them of their fortunes and, ultimately, their lives.
Both projects reflect the company’s commitment to high-risk stories, with cinematic production values and an international scope designed to captivate both buyers and global audiences.
Alan Green, VP of Sales at OneTwoThree Mediasaid: ‘We are delighted to bring these globally resonant stories to television’.
The company will showcase these productions, along with its catalog of feature films and documentaries, at its booth during MIPCOM 2025, while preparing new titles in development.
