Heading the slate are the unscripted formats such as Shine France’ The Big Music Quiz aired on leading French broadcaster TF1 and produced in Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Vietnam, Chile and Uruguay. The challenges come thick and fast in this test of musical knowledge in which teams of celebrities compete in a massive musical extravaganza.

RDF Television’ cookery game show Humble Pie aired on Channel 4 uniquely blends culinary skills with psychological warfare. In each episode, the self-belief of four aspiring chefs is put to the test as they are set three challenging cookery tests in a battle for a large cash prize.

The Big Music Quiz already has international versions in Europe, Asia and Latin America

From Banijay Production Germany comes the brand-new show Cream of the Crop aired at Vox: one hobby baker presents their personal masterpiece, the other bakers must then attempt to replicate their creation. The catch? They must attempt the bake without a recipe.

And this is how it works: The contestants have 5 minutes to taste the masterpiece and identify the secret ingredients.

AnotherGerman brand-new show is Fame Maker, produced by Brainpool TV for Pro7,where a jury of three “FameMakers” pay close attention to the performances. If they pull a lever to lift the dome, the performer joins their team. The performer can suddenly be heard and their talent – or lack of it – now becomes clear.

Action drama from Australia RFDS: Royal Flying Doctor Service

Vision Independent Production (Ireland) has produced for RTÈ The Big DIY Challenge, which combines the comedy and pace of a user-generated clip show with a home makeover show. And Endemol Shine France is bringing through Banijay Rights The Domino Effect, broadcast on M6 and available as format or finished tape: it’s an entertaining, family friendly, nostalgic TV spectacle like never before.
