The localization company Dubhub has struck a partnership with OGM UNIVERSE to localize the series 6 of Us (Sahipsizler), one of the latest hits in Turkish drama, into French. The agreement aims to boost the content’s international reach through state-of-the-art dubbing technologies.
Broadcast on Star TV, the series concluded last month and achieved strong digital traction: its first episode surpassed 23 million views on YouTube. The aim now is to replicate that impact in French-speaking markets, where consumption of international series continues to rise.
To this end, Dubhub will implement Evocion, its artificial intelligence system focused on emotional transfer in dubbing. The tool enables more accurate interpretation, combining automation with human creative supervision. According to its CEO, Fredrik af Malmborg, this type of dubbing can increase digital revenue by three to four times compared to the original language.
Backed by OGM Pictures —the studio behind global titles such as Golden Boy—, the agreement aims to establish a more agile and scalable localization model, which is key to maximising the profitability of Turkish content in the global ecosystem.
