Pink Parrot Media strengthens its international slate at Content Europe with three key IPs

Pink Parrot Media arrives at Content Europe with a clear strategy: combining new premium productions with established IPs and properties based on internationally recognized editorial brands. We will present three titles that reflect this vision: Butterfly Academy, Momonsters and Lotte & Totte, covering a wide range of needs within the kids and preschool market.

Butterfly Academy

One of the key highlights will be Butterfly Academy, a high-quality 3D animated series (26×11’) inspired by the world of monarch butterflies. The story follows four young protagonists who, after completing the great migration, take on the challenge of becoming mentors to the next generation. This “kids teaching kids” dynamic creates a comedy full of chaotic situations, humor and learning, where good intentions don’t always go as planned.

The series already has completed episodes available, with the first 13 scheduled for delivery in June and the full season set for July, positioning it as a strong proposition for broadcasters looking for content with a clear identity and international appeal. The project is already attracting strong international interest, with broadcasters on board including CBC, Radio-Canada and TFO in Canada, RTBF in Belgium, and MTVA in Hungary.

Alongside this new production, Pink Parrot strengthens its catalogue with Momonsters, a well-established preschool IP. With three seasons (104 episodes of 7’ in total), two feature films and multiple additional content pieces, the series blends 3D, 2D and live action, following a group of colorful and charismatic characters who learn alongside real children how to navigate everyday life.

Momonsters

The brand is backed by broadcasters such as RTVE, TG4 and RAI, among many others, and continues to expand its international footprint. The third season is now available, further reinforcing its presence, while the second feature film, Momonsters: The Christmas Movie, is currently in its final stage of production.

Completing the line-up is Lotte & Totte (also known internationally as Emma & Thomas), a preschool series based on a successful Scandinavian book series published in more than 18 countries. The story follows a young girl who moves to a new neighborhood and, through play, builds a friendship with her neighbor. The series embraces a warm and emotional storytelling approach, grounded in everyday situations that reflect how children discover the world through play.

The property also includes a feature film adaptation, and discussions are ongoing regarding an English dub, following the successful approach taken with the film. The project continues to gain traction internationally, with key territories such as Germany already on board, alongside its strong performance in Scandinavian markets.

With these three titles, Pink Parrot Media reinforces its positioning in the international market, offering content with a strong identity, established IPs, and projects with clear growth potential.
