International sales company Pink Parrot Media is showcasing its latest animation slate for young audiences at the Annecy MIFA 2026 market, headlining the presentation with a major television spin-off and the continued regional expansion of a flagship pre-school property.
Among the distributor’s key priorities for the international market is the television adaptation of its cinematic property Butterfly Academy. The newly developed project consists of 26 episodes and serves as a direct expansion of the franchise, built upon the commercial success of the original feature film’s theatrical release two years ago.
In addition to the new series adaptation, Pink Parrot Media is focusing heavily on the growth of the MoMonsters franchise. The brand has already established an extensive broadcasting footprint across the Americas, having previously aired on platforms such as HBO Latin America, Cartoonito, and Televisa in Mexico.
The studio’s Head of Sales confirmed that the pre-school property has recently been acquired by Televisión Nacional de Chile (TVN). This latest broadcast agreement significantly reinforces the franchise’s commercial presence and audience reach within the Southern Cone market as the company engages with global buyers during the Annecy event.
