TAICCA expands Asian bridge at Series Mania

Serial Bridges Asia grows into a wider platform linking Europe and Asia.

At this year’s Series Mania Forum, the Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA) reinforced its global strategy by renewing its memorandum of understanding with the market, while unveiling an expanded vision for its “Serial Bridges Asia” initiative. The program, now in its third year, evolves into a cross-regional platform with the addition of Thailand’s Creative Economy Agency (CEA), strengthening collaboration between Asia and Europe.

The announcement came alongside the “Asia Co-Pro Pitch by TAICCA,” where international industry experts selected The Fundamentals as the first-ever Serial Bridges Asia Award winner. The project stood out for combining a distinctly Taiwanese perspective with universal storytelling appeal, underlining the growing global potential of Asian content.

Through this renewed partnership, TAICCA continues to position itself as a key connector between Taiwanese creators and international partners, fostering co-financing and co-production opportunities. CEO Erica Wang emphasized the importance of these alliances, noting that access to funding and distribution remains critical for scaling Taiwan’s audiovisual industry worldwide.

With a stronger footprint in Lille this year, TAICCA made clear that its focus goes beyond promotion: the goal is to build practical pathways for projects to move forward. The expansion of Serial Bridges Asia, along with new regional partners, reflects a more hands-on approach to development—one that aims to translate connections made at the forum into concrete projects in the near future.
