Telefe Studios, the international production arm of leading broadcaster Telefé in Argentina, has had a very active participation at Mipcom in Cannes, France. Federico Levrino, sr. director of contents and programming at Telefe, and Mercedes Feu, head of Telefe Studios, attended the market.
Levrino: ‘This is a very good moment for Telefe, where the new owners of the broadcaster have confirmed their support to Telefe Studios, to the linear TV and streaming areas. We will move forward and deeper with our strong bet on sports and the big entertainment formats we usually handle and made us the leading channel of the Argentinean TV for decades’.
‘We expect a very good 2027, with particular focus on expanding our international business with Telefe Studios. We have a unique expertise both in fictions and entertainment, to provide prime time programming to other broadcasters and global streaming platforms. They require more and more local content, so their demand will continue growing. Our contents, especially fictions, has got top international successes for the last 40 years in the US Hispanic and Latin America, in Europe and Asia’.
